CAD Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Technician to join our innovative site construction team. This is a site-based role supporting the delivery of a major civil engineering infrastructure project.
Working closely with engineers and project teams, you will play a key role in producing accurate drawings and supporting ongoing site operations.
What you will be doing:
- Developing Concept Designs.
- Liaising with other team members.
- Reviewing and altering construction models
- Producing sketches and AutoCAD drawings for construction / temporary works proposals.
- Reviewing and developing as built construction information to be issued to clients.
- Drone activities, processing of imagery and point clouds
What you will bring:
- Strong background in practical problem solving.
- Sound understanding of civil engineering principles
- Degree (BEng) or similar college qualifications in civil engineering, not essential.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, BricsCAD, (Civils 3D / N4orce- Optional)
- Knowledge of Revit, or Tekla an advantage, but not necessary
- Good understanding of computer systems, IT, general software
