CAD Technician – Commercial Furniture

Salary: £30,000-£36,000+++ depending on experience

Hours: Monday – Friday - Days

Our client, a successful high-end Commerical fit out / commercial furniture manufacturer is currently recruiting for a CAD Technician to join their team.

Role Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed 3D CAD drawings for manufacturing purposes. Additionally, they will assist in the development of new furniture products and liaise with customers to ensure their requirements are met throughout the manufacturing process.

What we are looking for

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in the commercial furniture industry or similar field.
• A good understanding of furniture manufacturing techniques, fittings and materials.
• Someone enthusiastic about working for a growing business and motivated to grow with us.
• Experienced user of 3D CAD software preferably AutoCAD Inventor for creating detailed production drawings and renders.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
• Flexible and happy moving between CAD, BOM building, estimating and procurement support
• Proficient in Woodwork for Inventor or AutoCAD Inventor
