In this role, the successful CAD Technician or similar will be responsible for designing structured steelworks, travelling to carry out on site measurements once a week, and take precise measurements for new projects, they will then design the required custom solutions and send the final plans to the customer for approval.

The ideal CAD Technician or similar will be experienced using 3D SolidWorks, with a background in metal design.

The Person:

• Full experience and knowledge working with SolidWorks
• Background in metal design
• Background in a similar engineering company

The Role:

• Travelling to site and measuring projects
• Designing structured steelworks
• Sending plans to customers
