We are looking for an energetic, commercially minded and hands-on Café Manager who is excited by the opportunity to build something special from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in entrepreneurial environments, leads by example and takes genuine ownership of the café as if it were their own.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the café and maintain exceptional service and operational standards.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience through warm, attentive and consistent service.
- Recruit, train, motivate and develop a small, high-performing team.
- Prepare staff rotas and manage workforce planning.
- Manage stock control, ordering and supplier relationships.
- Monitor business performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure drinks and food are presented consistently to the highest standards.
- Build a positive team culture and act as an ambassador for the brand.
- Proven experience managing a premium café, coffee shop or hospitality venue.
- Experience recruiting, leading and developing successful teams.
- Strong organisational and commercial skills.
- Experience managing rotas, stock control and daily operations.
- Experience within premium hospitality, wellness or lifestyle brands would be advantageous.
- Pre-opening experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- A self-starter who is proactive, reliable and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy.
- Someone who will feel personally invested in the long-term success of the business.
- Salary of £38,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
