Job Title: Canteen Assistant
Location: Huddersfield
Pay : £13.35
Job Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving hot and cold food to a high standard.
- Providing a polite and efficient service to all canteen users.
- Maintaining cleanliness of all work surfaces, windows, floors and equipment.
- Sweeping, mopping and operating powered floor-cleaning machinery safely.
- Cleaning spills promptly and maintaining safe, tidy surroundings.
- Ensuring waste is disposed of in the correct waste streams.
- Monitoring stock levels, rotating food and adhering to Use By and Best Before dates.
- Replenishing drinks, snacks and canteen supplies, including clean crockery and cutlery.
- Ordering food and supplies as required.
- Following all company Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures.
- Completing and maintaining all required checks, records and documentation.
- Reporting hazards, defects or maintenance issues promptly.
- Keeping mandatory training and relevant qualifications up to date.
Food Hygiene certificate is desirable but not essential.
Hours :
Monday - Thursday 6am - 1:30pm
Friday 6am - 12pm
