Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 Basic | £45,000 - £55,000 OTE + Company Car + Benefits
OVERVIEW
An established automotive retailer is seeking an ambitious and customer-focused Sales Executive to join its successful vehicle sales team in Newbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to develop their career within a busy dealership environment, selling both new and used vehicles while delivering an outstanding customer experience. The successful candidate will be driven to achieve targets, build lasting customer relationships and maximise every sales opportunity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage customer enquiries both in person, online and over the telephone.
• Guide customers through the vehicle purchasing journey from initial enquiry through to handover.
• Demonstrate vehicle features and benefits, conduct test drives and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Achieve individual vehicle sales targets and departmental objectives.
• Promote finance, insurance and value-added products in line with compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity using dealership systems.
• Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Follow up customer enquiries and maximise conversion opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge, market trends and competitor activity.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Previous experience within a sales environment, ideally automotive retail.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Target-driven with a proven ability to achieve and exceed objectives.
• Professional, enthusiastic and highly organised.
• Comfortable using CRM and dealership management systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Sales Executive.
• Knowledge of automotive finance and insurance products.
• Experience working within a franchised dealership environment.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering excellent customer satisfaction.
