We are recruiting for a Car Sales Executive on behalf of our client, a well-established multi-franchise automotive dealer group operating across Southwest England since 1996. This Car Sales Executive role is based at their Gloucester site and offers a genuine opportunity for skilled and motivated motor trade individuals to develop their career within a reputable business.

  • Working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm; Saturdays 8:30am-5:00pm; Sundays 10:00am-4:00pm (with one in two Sundays off)
Duties of a Car Sales Executive:
  • Selling both new and used vehicles, including compact city cars, hybrid SUVs, and other models
  • Advising customers on add-ons, accessories, finance and insurance products, warranties, and service packages
  • Keeping customers informed about delivery schedules and managing any delays or queries proactively
  • Collecting payments and ensuring all documentation is complete for vehicle handover
  • Explaining warranty, insurance, and aftersales service arrangements
  • Introducing customers to the Service Department and demonstrating vehicle features
  • Building strong, lasting customer relationships to meet and exceed sales targets
Requirements of a Car Sales Executive:
  • Previous or present franchise-approved car sales experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong sales and customer service background is essential
  • A genuine passion for automotive sales and delivering excellent customer care
  • Enthusiasm, results-driven attitude, and commitment to professional excellence
  • Full UK driving licence with minimal points required
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently to achieve targets
