About the RoleWe are recruiting a dedicated Care Assistant (Days) to join a welcoming 30-bed residential care home in the beautiful Churston area of Brixham.
The home provides a warm, supportive environment where residents receive high-quality, person-centred care. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable and valued throughout the day.
Working 36 hours per week on 8am–8pm day shifts, you will provide compassionate support with personal care, daily routines, meals, activities and mobility, while promoting residents' dignity, independence, privacy and choice.
You will become an important part of a dedicated care team, building positive relationships with residents and helping to create a genuine home-from-home environment.

- Build positive and respectful relationships with residents and their families
- Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable
- A compassionate, caring and patient nature
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable and committed approach to work
- A genuine passion for supporting older people and improving their quality of life
- £12.90 per hour
