This beautifully presented home provides high-quality, person-centred care for older people living with dementia, offering both long-term and respite care within a comfortable and homely environment.

With accommodation for up to 20 residents, the home offers a personalised approach to care within a charming converted property. Residents can enjoy comfortable communal spaces, a peaceful garden, and the opportunity to personalise their bedrooms with their own furniture and belongings.

The home is conveniently located close to local amenities and transport links, making it easily accessible while retaining a strong community feel.

The Role

As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents with their day-to-day needs and ensuring they receive the highest standard of compassionate, person-centred care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents
  • Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities
  • Assisting residents with mobility and maintaining their independence
  • Supporting residents with their individual routines and preferences
  • Administering medication where trained and authorised to do so
  • Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
  • Promoting residents' dignity, choice, and independence
  • Creating a safe, calm, and positive environment
  • Encouraging social interaction and resident engagement
  • Supporting residents' emotional wellbeing and quality of life
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure consistently high standards of care

About You

The successful candidate will be a caring, reliable, and compassionate individual who genuinely enjoys supporting older people.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience working within a care home or similar setting
  • Experience supporting individuals living with dementia – desirable
  • A compassionate and person-centred approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A reliable, proactive, and team-focused attitude
  • A genuine passion for providing outstanding care
