We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team.

He or she will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals in a home care settings. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements

• Must be resident within Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield area in West Yorkshire or its environ.
• Previous experience in home care or a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.
• Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
• A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
• A genuine passion for providing quality care and support to individuals in need.
