Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be supporting individuals with their daily routines to help them maintain independence, comfort, and dignity. Daily tasks include:

  • Personal Care: Assisting with washing, dressing, and personal hygiene with the utmost respect.
  • Mobility Support: Helping individuals move around safely inside and outside their environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Cooking healthy, nutritious meals and assisting with hydration.
  • Companionship: Providing vital emotional support, a friendly face, and a listening ear.
  • Household Help: Assisting with light domestic duties such as laundry, shopping, and cleaning.
  • Medication Support: Administering or prompting medication according to personalized care plans.

Requirements

  • Personal Attributes: A caring, patient, and reliable nature with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a care setting is highly valued but not essential, as full, paid training is provided.
  • Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Background Check: Acceptance is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Driving Licence (Preferred): A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is beneficial for community/domiciliary roles, though not always mandatory for residential settings.
