We operate 124 sheltered flats for assisted living, all with 24 hour warden support, and a 44 bed care home offering residential care for frail elderly people and for those living with dementia.
We are now recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at us Churcher Court, Gosport.

About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, dignity, and independence of our residents.
Working alongside our experienced Senior Care Assistants and management team, you will provide person-centred care and support in a warm and welcoming environment.
As our Care Assistant you will:
- Support residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation and serving.
- Help residents maintain and develop independent living skills.
- Contribute to care planning and resident reviews where appropriate.
- Promote residents' privacy, dignity, choice, and wellbeing at all times.
- Support social activities, events, and outings, encouraging resident participation.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
- Report accidents, illnesses, maintenance issues, or concerns promptly.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and organisational policies.
- Attend training, supervision sessions, and staff meetings.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding care.
What We're Looking For
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
- Caring, reliable, and professional approach.
- Good communication skills.
- Patience and empathy when supporting older people.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
- Willingness to undertake training and development.
It would be great if you had:
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
- Previous experience caring for older people.
- A positive attitude and good sense of humour.
