Care Coordinator

Thendon Resourcing Limited

Care Co-ordinator

Stafford | £28,000 - £30,000 | Full Time | 37.5 Hours

Looking for more than just another care co-ordination role?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established care provider with a strong track record in other areas, make a name for themselves in Stafford,  delivering Supported Living for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs and a brand new Ofsted-regulated Supported Accommodation service for young people aged 16-18.

This isn't a role where you'll simply manage rotas.

We're looking for a proactive, organised and ambitious Care Co-ordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership and wants to play a key role in growing a high-quality service from the ground up.

You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, solve problems and help shape the future of the service alongside an experienced management team.

The Care Coordinator Role

You'll coordinate the day-to-day delivery of care across adult Supported Living, Domiciliary Care and Supported Accommodation services, ensuring people receive safe, person-centred support while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

No two days will be the same.

One day you could be coordinating staffing, responding to operational challenges and supporting new referrals. The next you'll be carrying out quality audits, working alongside managers to improve services, liaising with local authorities and ensuring young people and adults receive outstanding support.

This is a hands-on operational role where you'll be trusted to work independently, think ahead and make things happen.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in a role such as Care Coordinator / Care Manager / Deputy Manager within Supported Living, Domiciliary Care or Supported Accommodation
  • Is highly organised and able to prioritise in a busy environment
  • Can confidently make decisions and work with minimal supervision
  • Builds positive relationships with colleagues, professionals and families
  • Has a thorough understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care
  • Is confident using care management and rostering systems
  • Holds a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or equivalent)
  • Has a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle

Experience working within both CQC and Ofsted regulated services would be advantageous, although candidates with strong experience in one sector and the right attitude will also be considered.

What's on offer?

  • Salary of £28,000-£30,000 depending on experience
  • Opportunity to help develop a growing service from an early stage
  • Ongoing professional development – opportunities for promotion as they service grows.
  • Supportive leadership team that values ideas and initiative
  • The chance to make a genuine difference to the lives of adults and young people every day
