Our Care Home in Harrogate is looking for an experienced Home Manager to help bring it back to its best.

It’s a 40 bed residential home, by Harrogate town centre, set in around two acres of landscaped grounds. Every bedroom has an en-suite, and residents can bring their own belongings to make it feel like home.

The home has a long-standing reputation for its care and welcoming atmosphere. There’s work to do to get back to its best, and you’ll have a real say in how that happens.

A refurbishment is planned, and you’ll help shape it. You’ll bring your ideas about what would make the home a better place to live and work, and help decide where changes will make the biggest difference.

You’ll have the freedom to run the home, with an Operations Director to talk things through with and support your decisions. You’ll get to know the residents and team, work out what needs attention first, and put a clear plan into action.

• You’ve managed a residential care home before and can point to improvements you’ve made and Good CQC outcomes you’ve helped achieve.
• You’re comfortable joining a home where everything isn’t perfect. You know how to build confidence, deal with problems fairly and help people take pride in their work.
• You understand the financial side too—filling rooms, managing spending and making sure good care is supported by a well-run home.
• You hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or are working towards it.
