Are you an experienced, compassionate and reliable care worker looking to make a real difference in people’s lives?
Circle of Care Services is an established home-care provider supporting older people and adults with disabilities to live safely, comfortably and as independently as possible in their own homes.
We provide personalised, person-centred care based on each individual’s needs, choices, dignity and preferences. Our services also include reablement and recovery support, as well as compassionate end-of-life care.
We are looking for committed Care & Support Workers with at least 6 months’ experience in home care to join our growing team.
Your Role
As a Care & Support Worker, you will:
• Provide high-quality, person-centred care in clients’ own homes.
• Support clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting and continence care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and maintaining independence.
• Support clients with meals, nutrition and hydration where required.
• Provide medication prompts and support in line with care plans, training and your role.
• Provide companionship, reassurance and emotional support.
• Encourage clients to maintain their routines, relationships and involvement in the community.
• Support clients with reablement and recovery goals, encouraging independence wherever possible.
• Provide compassionate end-of-life care in accordance with the client’s wishes and care plan.
• Observe and report changes in a client’s physical, mental or emotional wellbeing.
• Seek appropriate medical or emergency assistance when necessary and in line with organisational procedures.
• Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other professionals involved in the client’s care.
• Communicate appropriately with families, with the client’s consent and in accordance with confidentiality requirements.
• Maintain accurate and timely care records after each visit.
• Follow safeguarding procedures, duty of care, confidentiality requirements and company policies at all times.
• Attend supervision, training, staff meetings and development sessions.
What We Are Looking For
• At least 6 months’ home - care experience is preferred but not essential.Full training will be provided for suitable applicants who are new to care
• A genuine passion for supporting older people and adults with disabilities.
• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and observation skills.
• Reliability, professionalism and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
• The ability to respect each client’s dignity, privacy, choices, wishes and preferences.
