What You'll Be Doing
As a Care Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting people to live safe, fulfilling, and independent lives by:
- Providing personal care and daily living support
- Assisting with health and wellbeing needs
- Encouraging choice, independence, and self-confidence
- Supporting people to pursue hobbies and interests
- Building positive relationships with families, colleagues, and professionals
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
- Recording information accurately and contributing to support reviews
- Promoting high standards of care, safeguarding, and health and safety
What We're Looking For
We're less interested in your experience and more interested in the person you are.
You'll be a great fit if you are:
- Compassionate, patient, and caring
- A positive team player with strong communication skills
- Resilient and able to remain calm under pressure
- Respectful of people's individual needs and choices
- Flexible and able to work a rota including nights, weekends, and bank holidays
Experience within care or support work is beneficial, but not essential.
Likewise, a Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable, but if you've got the right attitude and values, we'll support you with training and development.
