Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Caretaker to support their school community in Liverpool, L25. This is a temporary role that runs from 20th July to 28th August, with hours from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. You'll be compensated with a competitive pay rate of £12.65 per hour.
What You'll Do:
As a Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the school premises are clean, safe, and operational. Your responsibilities will include:
- Opening and Securing the School: Be the first face students and staff see in the morning and the last to ensure everything is locked up safely at the end of the day.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain the premises to meet health and safety regulations, ensuring a secure environment for everyone.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Carry out basic maintenance tasks and repairs to keep the school running smoothly.
- Site Security Monitoring: Keep an eye on site security, addressing any issues swiftly and effectively.
- Supporting Deliveries: Assist with the movement of equipment and furniture as needed, ensuring the school is well-equipped for activities.
- Outdoor Upkeep: Contribute to the general maintenance of outdoor areas, helping to create a pleasant environment for students and staff alike.
