Site Manager

CCS are currently recruiting for an experienced and proactive School Site Manager to join a dedicated outstanding ofsted primary school.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced School Site Manager or a highly experienced School Caretaker looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, well-maintained, and ready to provide an outstanding learning environment for pupils and staff.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

• 7:00am – 11:00am
• 2:00pm – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the school each day.
• Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks.
• Ensuring the school premises are safe, clean, and secure.
• Managing health and safety compliance across the site.
• Conducting routine building and equipment checks.
• Liaising with contractors and overseeing work carried out on site.
• Managing site security, including alarms and access.
• Supporting the school with planned maintenance projects and emergency repairs.
• Assisting with the setup of school events where required.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working as a School Site Manager or an experienced School Caretaker looking to progress.
• Strong practical maintenance and DIY skills.
• Good knowledge of health and safety procedures within a school environment.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and use initiative.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining high standards.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (or willingness to obtain one).
