Daniel Owen are working with a client based in Thame who are looking for an experienced caretaker to start in September.
Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30-3pm (some flexibility)

We're looking for a practical, reliable and proactive site Caretaker to join a friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, hands-on role and wants to make a real difference to the day-to-day running of a busy and welcoming office environment.
The Role
As part of the Facilities Team, you'll help ensure the buildings, grounds and communal areas are safe, well maintained and operating efficiently. From carrying out minor repairs to preparing meeting spaces, liaising with contractors and supporting health and safety compliance, you'll play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs across the site.
· Completing regular building inspections and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
· Coordinating maintenance requests and working with external contractors.
· Assisting with planned preventative maintenance programmes.
· Undertaking routine health and safety checks, including fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks and other compliance activities.
· Receiving deliveries and providing general operational support.
· Helping maintain attractive communal areas, including light gardening and general housekeeping tasks.
· Monitoring building services and reporting any faults or issues.
· Travelling to other nearby sites when required.
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys getting stuck in, can turn your hand to a variety of practical tasks and takes genuine pride in a job well done.
We're looking for someone who has:
· Previous experience in a Caretaker, maintenance or similar hands-on role.
· Practical DIY and basic repair skills.
· The ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload.
· A proactive approach and the confidence to work independently.
· Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
· A full UK driving licence.
