8:00am - 4:00pm - Monday to Friday

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Pay Frequency: Weekly

DBS: Enhanced DBS required

Hatched Recruitment are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Caretaker to join a site in Derby.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to keep the site clean, safe and well maintained, as well as carrying out routine planned maintenance duties.

Duties will include:

• General cleaning and upkeep of the site
• Litter picking and ensuring external areas are kept clean and tidy
• Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
• Completing planned maintenance (PM) tasks
• Water flushing and routine inspections
• Carrying out fire alarm testing
• Ensuring the site is safe, clean and presentable
• Opening and locking the site for lettings
• Reporting any maintenance or safety issues
• Working independently and managing day-to-day site duties

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS is essential
• Previous experience in a caretaker, maintenance, cleaning or facilities role would be beneficial
• Good practical maintenance skills
• Reliable and responsible approach to work
• Able to work independently
• Good awareness of health and safety
• Good communication skills
