We are currently recruiting for experienced 2nd Fix Carpenters to relocate to Guernsey for a long-term project, with up to 3 years of work available and plenty of overtime.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work away from home, earn well and experience life in the Channel Islands.

The Role

• 2nd fix carpentry on a long-term construction project


• Hanging doors and fitting ironmongery


• Installing skirting boards and architraves


• Suspended ceilings and finishing carpentry


• Working from drawings and specifications


• Ensuring high-quality workmanship and site safety

Package

£27 per hour

• Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm


• Up to 60 hours per week


• Saturdays available


• Plenty of overtime


• 3-year project


• First flight to Guernsey paid for


• Shared accommodation provided, with a short walk to the beach


• Pension scheme

• Guernsey has a 20% standard income tax rate

Requirements

• Proven experience as a 2nd fix carpenter


• Strong finishing carpentry experience


• Experience with doors, ironmongery, skirting, architraves and suspended ceilings


• Valid DBS check


• Reliable and able to work independently


• Willing to relocate to the Channel Islands


• Non-UK nationals must hold Settled or Pre-Settled Status
