We are currently looking for an experienced Formwork Carpenter to join a busy construction site in Oxford, OX2.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Formwork Carpenter / Shuttering Carpenter looking for ongoing, long-term construction work in Oxford, with an immediate start available.
Duties & Responsibilities- Carrying out formwork and shuttering carpentry
- Setting up, assembling and dismantling formwork
- Working from construction drawings and specifications
- Measuring, cutting and fixing timber
- General carpentry duties associated with concrete and structural works
- Working alongside the site team to meet programme deadlines
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Following site health and safety procedures
- Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter / Shuttering Carpenter
- Relevant CSCS, CPCS or NPORS qualification, where applicable
- Previous commercial or construction site experience
- Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications
- Full PPE
- Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious
- Able to provide relevant references
- Available for an immediate start
