We're looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.

The Role

You'll carry out a variety of carpentry repairs and maintenance works in occupied and void properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard while providing excellent customer service to residents.

Responsibilities

  • First and second fix carpentry.
  • Hanging doors, fitting locks, skirting, architraves, and kitchens.
  • Repairing windows, fencing, flooring, and other timber structures.
  • Diagnosing faults and completing reactive and planned maintenance.
  • Working independently and managing your daily workload.
  • Maintaining accurate job records using a mobile device.
  • Delivering excellent customer service in occupied homes.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry (preferred).
  • Proven experience working within social housing or domestic maintenance.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
