We're looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.
The Role
You'll carry out a variety of carpentry repairs and maintenance works in occupied and void properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard while providing excellent customer service to residents.
Responsibilities
- First and second fix carpentry.
- Hanging doors, fitting locks, skirting, architraves, and kitchens.
- Repairing windows, fencing, flooring, and other timber structures.
- Diagnosing faults and completing reactive and planned maintenance.
- Working independently and managing your daily workload.
- Maintaining accurate job records using a mobile device.
- Delivering excellent customer service in occupied homes.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry (preferred).
- Proven experience working within social housing or domestic maintenance.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
