We're looking for enthusiastic Admissions Advice and Guidance Officers to join our Student Recruitment and Customer Services team on a full-time casual contract until 1 November. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role during our busiest admissions and enrolment period, supporting prospective students from their first enquiry through to successful enrolment.
You'll be part of a friendly, fast-paced team, providing high-quality information, advice and guidance while helping deliver an exceptional experience for applicants, parents and carers.
What you'll do:- Support applications and enrolments from initial enquiry through to successful course placement.
- Provide high-quality information, advice and guidance to prospective students, parents and carers.
- Interview applicants and make course offers where appropriate.
- Deliver careers education, information, advice and guidance to individuals and groups, both within the College and at external events.
- Maintain accurate admissions records and ensure learner information is processed efficiently.
- Identify learner support needs and ensure referrals are made promptly to the Learning Support team.
- Represent the College at enrolment events, open days, school visits and promotional activities.
- Work collaboratively with curriculum teams and colleagues to ensure a smooth admissions process.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience throughout every stage of the learner journey.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A proactive, adaptable and professional approach to work.
- Experience in admissions, education, customer service or administration would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable.
- A willingness to work across both the North Star and Queens Drive campuses, including occasional evenings and weekends during peak enrolment.
Contract: Casual (Full Time)
Duration: Until 1 November 2026
