We're recruiting a Catering Assistant for a 5-week placement in Brockenhurst, starting 26th October. Working Monday to Friday from 09:30-15:00, this is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities:

You'll support the smooth running of daily operations by:

  • Assisting with food preparation, including peeling, chopping and portioning
  • Supporting food and drink service
  • Setting up and clearing tables and dining areas
  • Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Receiving, checking and storing deliveries
  • Providing friendly and professional customer service
  • Supporting customers with dietary and allergen requirements

What we're looking for:

To succeed as a Catering Assistant, you'll need:

  • An Enhanced DBS
  • An Allergens certificate
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • High standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • The physical stamina to work on your feet and handle manual tasks
  • Good attention to detail around food safety and allergens
  • A customer-focused approach
