Job Title: Catering Assistant

Location: Littlemore Mental Health CentreSandford Road, Littlemore, Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX4 4XN

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 1.30pm - 6pm

Pay: £12.92 per hour

THIS IS A TEMPORARY ROLE

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Ensure that all food is presented to customers in a professional manner in compliance with statutory guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with the preparation and production of menu items as required.
• Take reasonable instruction from the Chef on duty.
• Washing up duties and using the dishwasher.
• Adhering to the cleaning schedule allocated to the catering assistant, cleaning of kitchen area to prevent a safe clean working environment, clean as you go routine

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

• An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
• A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

• Experience in a similar role (though full training given)
• Knowledge of HACCP & COSHH
