TEMPORARY CATERING ASSISTANT – NURSERY SETTING
Location: Epsom area
£12.71 per hour
06:30 – 14:30
Monday – Friday
Immediate Start

We’re looking for a reliable Catering Assistant to join a nursery catering team on a temporary basis.
You’ll be supporting the kitchen team with the daily preparation and service of meals and snacks for approximately 50 nursery children.

Duties include:
  • Assisting with basic food preparation
  • Supporting breakfast, lunch, snacks and tea service
  • Helping maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
  • Washing up and general kitchen duties
  • Supporting with stock and kitchen porter duties
  • Following food safety and allergen procedures
Requirements:
  • Enhanced DBS required
  • Previous catering or kitchen experience preferred
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and allergen awareness
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
  • Non-slip shoes required
