Café Assistant - Harrogate, HG2

£13.14 - £13.45 per hour + bonus, meals on duty, uniform, enhanced holiday allowance, staff discount on food and drink, free onsite parking

40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts between 4am and 4pm

Temporary role with the possibility of moving on to a permanent full-time contract

We are looking for a Café Assistant to join a well-known Harrogate bakery serving breakfasts, lunches and light bites.

This role involves varied catering duties across all areas of the café, including:

• Serving customers
• Cleaning and tidying the dining area
• Pot wash, dishwasher and general kitchen cleaning duties
• Working with other members of the catering team to maintain excellent food safety standards

As the successful Café Assistant, you will be a team player with a friendly and welcoming attitude. You will have excellent attention to detail and a willingness to uphold high standards.

Full training will be provided, so previous kitchen, cooking or hospitality experience is not essential. If you are enthusiastic about great food, enjoy working with people and are keen to develop your cooking skills, then please get in touch with us.

You will be working for a highly reputable local bakery with an experienced, close-knit and welcoming team. You'll report to an experienced and supportive Catering Manager who is committed to helping colleagues develop their skills through ongoing training and development opportunities.

This lovely café is located in Harrogate, close to bus and train links and offers free on site parking so an easy commute from Knaresborough and Wetherby areas.
