Are you an experienced CCTV Drainage Surveyor looking for the opportunity to build and lead a new in-house drainage surveying division?

On offer is the opportunity to join a growing surveying specialist, providing high-accuracy spatial, geophysical and environmental data to support engineering design, construction planning and asset management across a variety of sectors. The company delivers industry-leading utility mapping, topographical surveys, laser scanning, LiDAR, UAV data capture and geospatial modelling services, and is now expanding its capabilities by bringing CCTV drainage surveying in-house.

In this role, you will take ownership of the company's CCTV drainage survey function, carrying out surveys across a variety of infrastructure, utilities, construction and engineering projects while ensuring surveys are delivered to the highest technical standards. You will produce detailed drainage condition reports, identify defects and recommend remedial works, while working closely with clients and project teams. As the department develops, you will play a key role in establishing procedures, maintaining equipment, improving service delivery and supporting the future growth of the team. The role is primarily site-based, working Monday to Friday, with occasional overnight stays required depending on project locations.

This role would suit an experienced CCTV Drainage Surveyor looking to take ownership of a new service offering within an ambitious and expanding surveying business.

The Role

• Carry out CCTV drainage surveys across commercial, industrial, infrastructure and utility projects using industry-standard inspection equipment.
• Produce detailed drainage survey reports, plans and defect assessments using WinCan or equivalent software, identifying issues and recommending remedial actions where required.
• Manage drainage survey projects from planning through to final client delivery, ensuring accurate data collection and high-quality reporting.
• Take ownership of developing the company's in-house CCTV drainage surveying capability, including improving processes, maintaining equipment and supporting future team growth.

The Person

• Previous experience carrying out CCTV drainage surveys.
• Experience producing reports using WinCan or similar CCTV drainage reporting software.
• Good understanding of drainage systems, defect coding and relevant industry standards.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Commutable to the West Midlands.
