One of the most respected geospatial surveying practices in the UK is looking for an experienced CCTV Drainage Surveyor to join its growing utilities team. The business delivers topographical, measured building, 3D laser scanning, BIM, aerial, hydrographic, PAS128 utility and CCTV drainage condition surveys across construction, infrastructure, energy, defence, heritage and utilities projects. With a large multidisciplinary team and continued investment in the latest equipment, they are expanding their drainage inspection offering.

Working on a hybrid basis, the CCTV Drainage Surveyor will work alongside utility surveyors, CAD technicians and project managers, reporting into the utilities management team. You will own drainage inspection and mapping projects end to end, from site data capture through to condition reports and CAD deliverables as the CCTV Drainage Surveyor. 

Responsibility & Duties

• Take full ownership of drainage survey projects from start to finish
• Carry out drainage inspections using advanced CCTV camera systems
• Trace and map drainage runs using sonde and electromagnetic locators
• Capture accurate survey positions using survey-grade GNSS equipment
• Post-process site data and produce MSCC5-coded condition reports
• Prepare high-quality CAD drainage deliverables to client specification
• Lead site teams as CCTV Drainage Surveyor and help train junior staff
• Work safely on site, following all health and safety procedures

Experience & Qualification

• Proven experience as a CCTV Drainage Surveyor within a surveying environment as the CCTV Drainage Surveyor. 
• Hands-on experience with CCTV, sonde, EML and GNSS equipment
• OS19x MSCC5 certification as the CCTV Drainage Surveyor. 
• Understanding of PAS128 underground utility survey standards
• Experience producing condition reports and CAD deliverables, ideally AutoCAD as the CCTV Drainage Surveyor. 
• Strong team player with a keenness for professional development
• Awareness of the latest industry best practices and standards
• Full UK driving licence
