Cell Development Engineer

The Cell Development Engineer will be responsible for:
- Supporting battery cell development activities, including material evaluation, test planning and performance validation.
- Planning and executing development trials and Design of Experiments (DoE)
- Analysing electrochemical data to identify trends, performance improvements and degradation mechanisms.
- Supporting the development of new cell formats, designs and manufacturing approaches.
- Contributing to technical feasibility studies, risk assessments and product development activities.
- Collaborating with manufacturing, quality and supply chain teams to support material selection and process development.
The Cell Development Engineer will have:
- A Degree or Master's Degree in Electrochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in lithium-ion battery development, testing, materials evaluation or manufacturing process development.
- Knowledge of battery cell components, materials and electrochemical behaviour.
- Experience planning and analysing development trials or experimental programmes.
- Familiarity with electrochemical testing techniques such as cycling, EIS, CV, GITT/PITT or similar methods.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
