Change & Communications Specialist - Cyber Security
Location: UK Remote
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £400 to £450 per day inside IR35

Summary
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Change & Communications Specialist to support the delivery of cyber security initiatives through effective change management, communication, and awareness activities. Working closely with the Cyber Change Lead and project teams, you will coordinate and execute change delivery support, stakeholder engagement, readiness activities, and user adoption efforts to ensure successful implementation of cyber programmes.

You will play a key role in driving cyber awareness and engagement by creating compelling, creative content such as posters, infographics, newsletters, videos, and digital assets to promote cyber-safe behaviours across the organisation. Supporting Cyber Champions and local initiatives will also be part of your remit.

In addition, you will draft and coordinate communications across multiple channels, maintain communication assets and SharePoint content, and manage launch and reinforcement activities for cyber initiatives. Your work will be essential in tracking change progress, gathering stakeholder feedback, and escalating adoption risks to ensure smooth delivery and high user adoption.

This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A creative mindset and strong storytelling capabilities are essential to develop engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences, from frontline employees to senior leaders.

Skills
- Experience supporting change, communications, awareness, training, or employee engagement initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management skills, confident working with technical SMEs and business stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong content development and storytelling abilities
- Creative mindset for developing engaging awareness materials (posters, infographics, videos, presentations)
- Practical knowledge of change management principles and approaches
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver at pace
- Proactive, hands-on attitude with strong attention to detail (a doer!)
- Experience using Microsoft 365 tools including PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, and Copilot
- Proficiency with Canva and video creation/editing tools to produce professional-quality multimedia content
- Ability to gather and analyse stakeholder feedback and escalate adoption risks appropriately

Certifications & Standards
- Practical knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci or equivalent is beneficial but not mandatory)
