Change Manager
Artis Recruitment
Change Manager required by a leading professional services organisation
Bristol | £60,000 - £65,000 + bonus | Hybrid working
Artis Recruitment is working exclusively with a leading professional services organisation to recruit an experienced Change Manager into its growing Transformation & Projects function.
This is a great opportunity for an established Change professional who enjoys working at the intersection of people, technology and business transformation.
The organisation has a significant programme of change underway, with projects ranging from the introduction of new technologies and AI through to improvements in processes, services and ways of working.
About the opportunity
You will take ownership of the people and adoption side of a number of important transformation initiatives, helping ensure that projects don't simply get delivered, but that the changes are understood, adopted and embedded across the organisation.
You'll work alongside Project Managers, senior business stakeholders and subject matter experts, acting as the Change Management specialist throughout the project lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing practical change approaches for a range of business and technology projects.
- Understanding how proposed changes will affect different teams, roles and stakeholders.
- Creating stakeholder engagement, communications and adoption plans.
- Working with project sponsors and senior leaders to ensure they are equipped to lead change effectively.
- Running workshops, briefings and engagement sessions with impacted teams.
- Identifying potential resistance and putting appropriate strategies in place.
- Supporting the successful adoption of new technology, processes and ways of working.
- Working closely with Technology, Innovation, Learning and Communications teams.
- Tracking engagement, adoption and other indicators to understand whether change is landing successfully.
- Providing coaching and guidance to Project Managers, sponsors and change champions.
- Helping to develop and improve the organisation's overall Change Management capability, including tools, templates and best-practice guidance.
- Contributing to lessons learned and continuous improvement across the transformation portfolio.
What we're looking for
We're keen to speak with Change Managers who have a proven track record of delivering organisational, business or technology change within a complex environment.
Professional services experience would be advantageous, but we'd also welcome applications from candidates who have worked in other sectors with similarly complex stakeholder environments.
You'll ideally bring:
- Solid practical experience in a Change Management or Transformation role.
- Experience managing change across multiple projects or programmes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- The confidence to work with and influence senior leaders.
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
- Experience producing change plans, impact assessments and stakeholder strategies.
- A structured and pragmatic approach to managing resistance and adoption.
- The ability to understand complex business problems and translate them into practical change activity.
- Experience measuring adoption, engagement and the effectiveness of change.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work across multiple specialist teams.
A recognised Change Management qualification such as Prosci, APMG or equivalent would be beneficial, but is not essential.
Why consider this role?
This isn't a role where you'll be managing one isolated project. You'll have exposure to a varied transformation portfolio, including technology, AI, process improvement and wider organisational change.
It's an opportunity to join a well-established team where Change Management is viewed as an important part of successful transformation, rather than simply an additional project activity.
You'll receive:
- £60,000 - £65,000 salary
- Bonus
- Hybrid working – 2-3 days per week onsite in central Bristol
- Permanent position
- Exposure to high-profile transformation and technology programmes
- The opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders
- A supportive and established Transformation & Projects environment
- Excellent scope for development and progression
