We’re currently working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy that is looking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor to join its established Bristol team.
This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work across both professional Building Surveying services and project management, supporting a diverse range of clients and projects across the South West.
The Role
You’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of instructions, including:
- Building surveys and technical due diligence
- Condition surveys and planned maintenance programmes
- Dilapidations and schedules of condition
- Defect diagnosis and technical reporting
- Project management and contract administration
- Preparation of specifications and tender documentation
- Procurement and contractor management
- Project delivery from inception through to completion
- Working with both public and private sector clients
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
About You
We’re looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with a strong technical background and experience within a consultancy environment.
You’ll ideally have:
- MRICS qualification
- Solid experience across professional Building Surveying services
- Project management and/or contract administration experience
- Strong technical surveying and reporting skills
- Excellent client-facing and communication abilities
- The ability to manage multiple instructions and projects
- A commercial approach and an interest in developing client relationships
