Chef De Partie in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

We’re looking for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a hotel in Nottingham City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef who takes pride in delivering high-quality food and wants to develop their skills within a busy hotel environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
• Taking responsibility for your designated section
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards
• Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy service
• Ensuring stock is stored correctly and minimising food waste
• Assisting with menu preparation and development
• Following recipes, portion controls and presentation standards
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the kitchen team

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role
• A genuine passion for food and delivering high standards
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• A positive, reliable and professional attitude
• Relevant culinary qualifications are desirable but not essential
