Our client, ISS, is looking for a Chef de Partie to join their team in Northampton.

At Northampton Campus, dining is centred around freshness, choice, and quality. Staff enjoy a vibrant selection of hot food counters, freshly prepared dishes, and salad bars, with menus updated regularly to provide variety and an exceptional dining experience.

As a Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of your section, balancing precision, creativity, and efficiency while ensuring every dish is prepared and presented to the highest standard.

The Role

  • Support the seamless delivery of the catering service while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer experience.
  • Assist with food preparation, cooking, and service as directed.
  • Ensure all company and statutory regulations relating to health and safety, food hygiene, and fire safety are always followed.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments, including the Curated Experience team, to deliver events and special occasions.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety throughout all areas of the kitchen.
  • Assist with special functions and events, which may occasionally fall outside normal working hours.
  • Ensure all company and client procedures are followed and carried out in accordance with operational standards.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and helpful attitude at all times.
  • Ensure recognised company procedures and operating standards are consistently maintained.

About You

  • NVQ Level 2 qualification (or currently working towards completion) or an equivalent professional cookery qualification.
  • A willingness to work across all areas of the kitchen, including the main kitchen, butchery, fish preparation, and pastry sections.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • A calm, logical, and professional approach to work.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work confidently with colleagues at all levels.
  • A strong team-focused attitude, alongside the ability to work independently when required.
  • A motivated, committed, and flexible approach.
