We are looking for an enthusiastic Chef to lead a busy school kitchen, delivering fresh, nutritious meals to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality meals using fresh ingredients.
- Lead and support the kitchen team.
- Maintain Food Hygiene, Allergen, and Health & Safety standards.
- Provide catering for school events and hospitality requests.
- Build positive relationships with staff and students.
About You
- Must have a current DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one
- Previous catering experience, ideally in education or high-volume environments.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 & 3 qualified (or willing to train).
- Strong knowledge of food safety and compliance.
- Motivated, organised, and able to inspire a team.
- Passionate about food and delivering excellent service.
What we can offer
- £18 per hour
- 30 hours per week
- 39 weeks per year (term-time only)
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- No evenings or weekends
