About the RoleWe are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Chef to join our team at a busy golf resort in Abergele. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality breakfasts and lunches for resort guests, members, and visitors, ensuring excellent food standards and customer satisfaction at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menus to a high standard.
- Ensure food is presented attractively and served promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation and storage.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Support the wider kitchen team as required.
- Previous chef or kitchen experience is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent food and service.
- Must be available for an immediate start.
- £15.00 per hour.
- Consistent daytime hours (8:00am – 6:00pm).
