About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and committed Children in Care Social Worker to join a well-established team in Ellesmere Port. This service provides a statutory social work function for children and young people aged 0-18 who are in care.
You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, child-centred practice, ensuring positive outcomes for children while working collaboratively with carers, families, and partner agencies.
Key Requirements
- ESSENTIAL: Experience working within a Children in Care team
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience within a permanent role in an English Local Authority
- Strong understanding of statutory responsibilities, care planning, and permanency
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work effectively under pressure
- Skilled in building meaningful relationships with children and young people
