Please note: This role for a Trainer of Residential Childcare Apprenticeships, not a managerial role within a children’s home.

Location: Home/Field based covering Hertfordshire - Must be flexible with travel
Salary: £32,500 - £34,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Essential Criteria:
- Must hold solid occupational experience within Residential Childcare (Childrens Home) as a Deputy Manager or above.
- Hold or be willing to work towards an Assessor qualification (full funding and support provided)
- Ideally hold a level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
- Confident with Maths and English and ideally have own GCSE’s or equivalent in Maths and English.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
- Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships - Levels 4 and 5.
- Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
- Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
