Children's Residential Senior Support Worker

Senior Support Worker – Children's Residential Home (EBD)
Pay: £15.00–£16.00 per hour

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our Ofsted-registered EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) Children's Home. This role involves supporting the day-to-day running of the home, leading shifts, and providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead shifts and support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager.
• Provide safe, nurturing, and person-centred care.
• Act as a Key Worker and promote positive outcomes for young people.
• Support behaviour management using a trauma-informed approach.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise and mentor staff while promoting a positive team culture.
• Support daily routines, activities, medication, and household tasks.

Requirements:

• Experience in a children's residential or EBD setting.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children's residential care.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends.
