Children's Residential Support Worker / Team Leader
Locations: Chesterfield & Newark-on-Trent
Salary: £30,000+ per annum plus attendance bonus and additional benefits
Hours: Full Time
Shift Pattern: Rotational shifts including sleep-ins (minimum of 2 sleep-ins per week)

BRB Recruit are currently working in partnership with two well-established children's residential providers in Chesterfield and Newark-on-Trent who are committed to delivering the highest standards of care, support, and outcomes for young people. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit experienced Children's Residential Support Workers and Team Leaders to join their dedicated teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.

Promote positive outcomes through a therapeutic and child-centred approach.

Build positive relationships with young people, families, and professionals.

Support young people with daily routines, education, appointments, and activities.

Maintain accurate records and reports.

Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times.

Work as part of a dedicated team to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive home environment.
Requirements

Previous experience working within a children's residential setting.

Hold a Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Residential Childcare, Children and Young People's Workforce, or an equivalent qualification.

Full UK driving licence.

Strong understanding of safeguarding and therapeutic care practices.

Ability to work a varied shift pattern, including a minimum of 2 sleep-ins per week.
