Children's Residential Support Worker / Team Leader
Locations: Chesterfield & Newark-on-Trent
Salary: From £30,000 per annum plus attendance bonus and additional benefits
Hours: Full Time
Shift Pattern: Rotational shifts including sleep-ins (minimum of 2 sleep-ins per week)

BRB Recruit are currently working in partnership with two established children's residential providers located in Chesterfield and Newark-on-Trent. Both organisations are committed to delivering outstanding care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people through a therapeutic and child-centred approach.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Children's Residential Support Workers and Team Leaders to join their dedicated teams.
Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people within a residential setting.

Promote positive outcomes through therapeutic and relationship-based practice.

Support young people with daily living activities, education, appointments, and recreational activities.

Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals.

Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times.

Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.

Contribute to creating a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment.
Requirements

Previous experience working within a children's residential care setting.

Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Residential Childcare, Children and Young People's Workforce, or equivalent.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Good understanding of safeguarding, childcare legislation, and therapeutic care practices.

Ability to work a varied shift pattern, including a minimum of 2 sleep-ins per week.
