The Role

You will manage a varied and rewarding caseload within the Assessment & Safeguarding Team, working closely with children, families, and partner agencies to ensure children receive the right support and protection at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Child Protection (CP), Child in Need (CIN), and Public Law Outline (PLO) cases.

• Undertake assessments and develop effective care and support plans.

• Build positive relationships with children, families, and partner agencies.

• Produce high-quality reports and maintain accurate case records.

• Assess risk and make informed decisions to safeguard vulnerable children.

• Work in line with statutory legislation, safeguarding procedures, and best practice.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.

• Proven experience within Children's Assessment and Safeguarding.

• Strong experience managing CP, CIN, and PLO cases.

• Excellent assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.

• A confident practitioner with a child-centred approach and a passion for achieving positive outcomes.
