FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY - CHILLED WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
Location: Tewkesbury
Salary: £40,900 per annum, based on 45 hours per week
Holiday: 22 days annual leave + bank holiday allowance
We are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and organised Chilled Warehouse Supervisor to join the busy warehouse operation at in Tewkesbury.
This is a key hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for supporting, motivating and developing Warehouse Team Leaders and Operatives, while ensuring the warehouse operates safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
·Supervising, motivating and supporting Chilled Warehouse and Yard staff
·Ensuring safe working practices and manual handling procedures are followed
·Monitoring chilled warehouse conditions, equipment and fridge temperatures
·Supporting stock rotation, daily stock checks and accurate paperwork
·Working closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Management to resolve issues
·Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised working environment
·Supporting loading and unloading to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround times
·Ensuring product quality, stock control and hygiene standards are maintained
·Deputising for the Warehouse Manager when required
About You

·Confidence working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
·A hands-on approach and pride in maintaining high standards
·Previous warehouse supervision or team leadership experience
Forklift truck experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
