Location: Reading / Field Based
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Package
We're looking for an experienced Chiller Engineer to join a well-established UK cooling and HVAC business, working across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and data centre environments.
The Role
- Service, maintenance and breakdowns on chillers and refrigeration systems
- Diagnose faults and provide effective repair solutions
- Work on chilled water systems, splits, VRF/VRV and associated HVAC equipment
- Carry out electrical, controls, refrigerant and mechanical works
- Attend customer sites and manage jobs independently
- Complete clear service reports and documentation
- Provide technical support to other engineers when required
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years' refrigeration/chiller experience
- Level 3 qualification in Refrigeration / Engineering
- Strong chiller and refrigeration fault-finding experience
- F-Gas certified
- Comfortable working independently on customer sites
- Experience with centrifugal, screw or reciprocating chillers is highly desirable
- Additional specialist experience such as Ammonia, CO₂, Turbocor or controls would be advantageous
