Based from the Office in Maynooth Co. Kildare, Ireland. Forming an integral part of the Design & Civil Team reporting to the Design Director.

Role & Responsibilities 

The Civil CAD Technician is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and delivery of high-quality civil engineering drawings and design information to support a range of infrastructure and site development projects.

Working closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams, the role involves producing detailed AutoCAD and Revit drawings for drainage, roads, utilities, earthworks, and site development works.

Ensuring designs are technically accurate and compliant. You will provide technical support to the design team, contribute to the successful delivery of projects, and maintain a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement throughout all stages of project.

  • Prepare and presenting engineering drawings & design outputs
  • Producing detailed civil drawings using AutoCAD / Revit
  • Develop drainage, utility and service drawings 
  • Assisting with stormwater, foul sewer and utilities design layouts 
  • Support earthworks, levels and road design packages
  • Work closely with engineers to deliver projects on time and budget
  • Providing technical support and guidance within the design team.


What we're looking for

  • Strong communication and attention to detail 
  • Can do , pro active attitude , able to build relationships internally and externally 
  • 3- 5 years' experience as a Civil Technician or Civil CAD Technician.
  • Strong AutoCAD& Revit experience 
  • Experience producing civil engineering site development drawings.
  • Knowledge of concrete sub-structures, drainage, roads and utility infrastructure design.
  • Understanding of the Irish planning process and development standards

Culture & Client 

This isn't a hybrid position. You'll be based in the County Kildare Office near Maynooth office five days a week, typically from around 7.30–8.00am through to 5.30–6.00pm. Occasional travel will be needed to meet clients, supply chain and to visit sites.
