Civil Design Coordinator (Remote)

We are seeking a technically competent Civil Design Coordinator to support the delivery of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The role requires a strong technical understanding of civil, structural and geotechnical engineering, with responsibility for coordinating site design, managing technical queries and liaising with design consultants, contractors and site teams.

This is a technical coordination role and does not involve undertaking design work.

• Coordinate civil, structural and geotechnical design interfaces for BESS project sites.

• Manage and track technical queries, RFIs and requests for design clarification, ensuring timely responses from the relevant design consultants.

• Coordinate site design information relating to foundations, ground conditions, earthworks, drainage, access roads, equipment bases and other associated infrastructure.

• Liaise with site teams and contractors to resolve construction-related technical issues.

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical reports to identify discrepancies and potential design clashes.

• Monitor design deliverables, outstanding actions and technical dependencies that may affect site progress.

• Ensure site teams have access to current, approved design documentation.

• Maintain technical query registers and coordinate the resolution of design-related issues.
