Are you an experienced Civil Design Engineer?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Civil Design Engineer to join a growing and ambitious engineering business based in the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a varied range of projects and project scales, contributing to the design and development of residential and development schemes.

Essential:

• Proven experience in Civil Design Engineering

• Development or house builder design experience

• Experience with site set-up, roads and sewers design

• Expert-level Autodesk Civil 3D

• Expert-level Autodesk AutoCAD

• Experience using Autodesk InfoDrainage

• Experience using Site3D

• Experience using Causeway Flow

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook

Desirable:

• CEng / MICE qualification

• Currently working towards CEng / MICE

• Design and develop civil engineering schemes across a range of project types and scales

• Undertake site set-up and civil infrastructure design

• Design roads and sewers for development projects

• Produce detailed designs using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD

• Design and develop drainage systems using Autodesk InfoDrainage

• Produce accurate technical drawings, models and design information

• Work across residential and development projects from initial design through to detailed design

• Collaborate with engineers, clients and project teams to deliver successful designs

• Ensure designs meet relevant standards, specifications and project requirements

As a Civil Design Engineer, you will also be expected to:

• Be a proactive, driven individual with strong attention to detail

• Have a genuine design-focused background with demonstrable hands-on experience

• Be comfortable working across a varied project portfolio

• Have strong technical communication and problem-solving skills

• Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider engineering team
