Civil Engineer

I'm currently working with a well-established engineering consultancy in Manchester that is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join its growing infrastructure team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use development projects, contributing to the design and delivery of highways, drainage and infrastructure schemes from concept through to construction.

You'll be involved in:

• Highways and drainage design for development projects
• Preparation of drainage strategies and flood risk assessments
• Section 38, Section 278 and Section 104 agreements
• Producing technical reports and supporting planning submissions
• Liaising with clients, local authorities and key stakeholders
• Supporting project delivery alongside experienced engineers and technicians

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience working within a UK engineering consultancy environment
• Knowledge of development infrastructure, highways and drainage design
• Experience using software such as Civil 3D, InfoDrainage or MicroDrainage
• Strong communication and project coordination skills
• Working towards ICE accreditation would be advantageous
